Nilsen`s Southern Harmony feat. Country Queens Folkband - Slow My Roll

Nilsen's Southern Harmony's latest album, SUGARADO was named "Country album of the year" by The Southland Music Line (Mississippi, US), and was #5 on the overall list. Holdin' on to Nothin' was at #12 on their best songs of 2024 list, regardless of genre. This song was also #1 two weeks in a row on J.C.'s weekly music chart. Lonely Was My Middle Name (also from SUGARADO) was the second most requested song in Sept-Oct-Nov-Dec '24, and jan-feb-mars '25, at LDM Radio (New York, US), and was put in Heavy Rotation by UK Country Radio. Here's the traditional Easter single, featuring Country Queens Folkband.

Nilsen's Southern Harmony is a very popular and active live band, known for their infectious positivity, and joy of playing music. At a crossroads where country and rock meet, with traces of pop and blues. Their songs have been featured in the Netflix series DAG, and several other TV series and movies. Nilsen is one of very few European composers who has been invited several times to the prestigious Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival, with some of the biggest songwriter names in the US.

He has had more than 80 of his songs recorded by other artists, including three European top 5 hits (HotDisc Top 40). Artists such as Linda Gail Lewis, Dallas Moore, Billy Don Burns, and Drew Howard have recorded songs written by Nilsen, just like many big Norwegian acts have done. In 2024, Nilsen appeared at the Mississippi Songwriters Festival (Ocean Springs, MS), and the Highway 98 Songwriter Festival (Lillian, AL)
