Unapologetically bold & DIY, I had no doubts that my music would not be released under a pseudonym. These
intimately crafted songs are an extension of Tyler Quantrill.
My debut solo album A Transmission of Hope was released in July 2024. Recorded in my home in Rushden,
Northamptonshire across 2022, I felt the post-pandemic songs were all very ‘human’, lyrically examining disorder and
chaos around the world, with moments of inward reflection.
From the heavy rock riffs of The Buzzer to epic Father-Son duet Drowning In Holy Water, A Transmission of Hope is
a deeply emotive listen.
Released to celebrate the one year anniversary of A Transmission of Hope, Awaken serves as the fourth single from
the album. The track is a highlight from the release, utilising storytelling to convey an important message of mental
well-being and the impact of suicide from the perspective of a mourning lover. The mellow album-track Gone Before
You Wake presents the other perspective of the story.
Blending grunge-soaked vocals and gritty guitars with a hint of doom metal influence, the track is a hard-hitting
reminder of the importance of mental well-being.
