Emmie Lee is a country born, English rose grown in rural England and sunny Florida. Singing, dancing and songwriting since the 90’s, Emmie has performed in choirs, bands and musical theatre groups on stages around England, Norway, Florida and Nashville. In 2018 Emmie moved to Norway, where she discovered the world of Pin-up. Since winning the «Miss Fuzzy Dice» Pin-up competition in 2023 and reaching the finals of the «Midnight Sun Pinup competition» in Finland in 2024, her original blend of country rock has taken on a more retro country vibe. Emmie now combines her two loves and is often seen in her Pin-up gear whilst performing her classic country songs. Country singles «Perfectly imperfect» and «Semi country girl» were released in 2024 along with her Christmas single «River (Acoustic)» featuring Lodvar. With 2025 showing the release of «Me and Bobby McGee» and new single «Pin-up Cowgirl».
We all know growing up isn’t easy, especially if you’re a little different. For me the hardest part was learning to accept myself and embrace those differences. Pin-up Cowgirl is about standing up and being seen for who you are. If I can do it, so can you! So "grab your guitar, go head to the bar" and sing along with this feel good rockabilly song… Recorded in Nashville and Norway. This song has an old time rockabilly feel, with its upright bass, honky-tonk piano and dobro guitar.
