Dwayne Lace: The Voice Behind the Music
If music had DNA, Dwayne Lace’s would be pure melody.
Born and raised in Rotterdam with deep R&B and Gospel
roots, he doesn’t just sing – he lives music. Whether he’s
writing, coaching, producing, or setting the stage on fire,
Dwayne is the definition of an all-round artist.
From his teenage years rocking local parties to sharing
the stage and studio’s with icons like Anouk, Ruth Jacott,
Ben Saunders, Guus Meeuwis, Kyteman, Nyanda (Brick ‘n
Lace), Ronald Molendijk, Romy Monteiro and many more,
Dwayne’s journey has been anything but ordinary. His
powerhouse vocals have graced live shows for The Voice
of Holland and Idols and in 2019, he made jaws drop
when his blind audition on The Voice of Holland stole the
show, pulling in 3.3 million viewers.
But Dwayne isn’t just about the spotlight – he’s also
the magic behind the music. As a vocal coach, vocal
producer and songwriter, he’s shaped soul-stirring songs
and powerhouse vocal arrangements for top-tier artists.
His work at the legendary Wisseloord Studios, coaching
Romy Monteiro on Holding On (the soundtrack to the
award-winning film Silverstar) and his vocal production
for Lloyd de Meza’s hit ‘Elke Stap’ are just two of the
many projects that prove his industry prowess.
Dwayne will drop his debut single + video ‘If I Could’ in
collaboration with Ben Saunders (The first winner of The
Voice worldwide) on September the 12th!
