Songwriter, guitarist, piano-player and producer HERB G. - Herbert Gebetsroither was born 1957 in Linz, Upper-Austria. For the past 40 years, he‘s been a resident of the musical metropolis Vienna, Austria. Since the late 80s he has released 50 melodious and catchy Pop, Rock & Jazz - songs under the artist name J.Honk (JIVI HONK) and first hit the charts on Austria`s EHR-station Ö3 with „Lovedancer“ and „Space Me To The Stars“ (instrumental) in 1988.
In the 90s he had various popular airplay-hits like „Sunrider“, „Moonrider“ on radiostations ARD, NDR, Radio Netherlands, Radio Tokyo FM, etc.
2023 the Classic Rock Pop - song „Blue Land“ has been chosen for radiorotation on stations in the USA, Australia, UK, Brazil, a.m.o. Since then he uses also the new and second artist name HERB G. for his jazz & instrumental releases
