Good Foot taken from the debut album “Be The Good People” from The Mighty Tiny & The
Many Few
The debut album ‘Be The Good People’ was considered for Grammy nomination in the category of
Best Alternative Jazz Album this year as well as a nomination for best new jazz group at the
Danish Music Awards in 2025
The foundation of ‘Good Foot’ was recorded in the Nordvest quarter of Copenhagen long before
the final sessions in 2023 and 2024. The demo was originally recorded by Danish duo
Bremer/McCoy with Oliver Nehamer on drums but no vocalist could ever make a proper song
over it until we handed it to Randy Valentine and then with the post production help of Steven
Jess Borth II, Laurits Qwist Bilén and Frederick Sharff was it able to come to life in the way you
hear it today.
This song feels like slowly waking up in the morning and a sudden realisation of the joy of being
alive and able to love.
The Mighty Tiny & The Many Few will perform at Jazz Refound Festival in Italy this summer as
well as the world famous Jazzhus Montmartre in the heart of Copenhagen.
‘Good Foot’ has been by far the most streamed song from ‘Be The Good People’ with over 2
millions streams to date. Especially getting traction in the USA, UK and Australia.
You can hear the signature sound of the Danish duo Bremer McCoy on this record with the
addition of an amazingly syncopated soulful drum pattern that drives the song throughout without
missing a beat
