Award-winning vocalist, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Joyce has shaped an
authentic, soul-driven musical identity throughout her career. A professional singer and
renowned vocal coach, she has mentored numerous artists while building her own
international artistic journey. With the highest qualifications in both voice and
keyboard, she has shared stages with Paul Jones, Dr. Feelgood, Jo Harman, and Joanne
Shaw Taylor. Her body of work includes multiple albums of original material, global
festival performances, and high-profile session projects.
Most recently, she collaborated
with guitarist Ron Sayer on a blues-rock album produced by Mike Exeter (Black
Sabbath). Blending blues warmth with soulful authenticity, “What Will He Bring Me?” offers a
fresh yet timeless take on the Christmas genre. Built on a rich Motown/Stax-inspired
foundation, the track features vibrant brass, layered harmonies, and a classic rhythm
and-blues groove. Joyce’s expressive vocal brings emotional depth to this festive
release. Co-produced with Ron Sayer, the song draws on influences such as Wynona
Carr, Ruth Brown, and Etta James—delivering a holiday single that feels simultaneously
vintage and new.
A versatile writer across blues, rock, pop, and soul, Joyce has always had a special
affection for Christmas music. “What Will He Bring Me?” marks her second original
holiday release following “Snowflake,” a progressive-rock-influenced track. She also
previously released a contemporary blues cover of Charles Brown’s “Please Come Home
for Christmas” on the Gulf Coast label. “What Will He Bring Me?” distinguishes itself with its warm vocal performance, festive
atmosphere, and classic soul sensibility. The track highlights Joyce’s ability to bring
vintage rhythm-and-blues textures into a modern musical landscape—solidifying her
place as an artist with both timeless appeal and contemporary relevance.
