More than just a feature, Castella is a “guest” of the Suffolk, England based band, The Jupiter
Gallery. Sunset Drive is the second release from The Jupiter Gallery’s highly anticipated album The Guest
Suite, an album of collaborations with artists whose work the group admires. Nearly a year in the
making, Sunset Drive is the result of the combined writing talents of The Jupiter Gallery (A-Siege, James
Cheal and Sebastian Humphrey) and Castella. Contributing both her pen and her voice, the track
was “so very easy to write to” says the singer. “The excitement and positive energy from the groups
keyboardist, A-Siege was infectious” and Castella says she “had to hop on the project, it’s not every day
that a band from across the pond reaches out for songwriting opportunities!”
Castella recorded her
vocals with her trusted producer Darryl Swann in North Hollywood, with the single being produced by A
Siege in England. Sunset Drive is a real head bopper and you can’t help but dance to it and imagine a girl
skipping down the stairs to join her favorite guy for an affectionate drive at Sunset. Castella and The
Jupiter Gallery lead singer, Sebastian Humphrey, blend together like a smooth malted shake on Saturday
afternoon. The harmonies and beautiful lead and backgrounds vocals are well played by the pair.
Maybe the guys in Suffolk were thinking about Sunny California when they entitled this song for their
Southern California guest, Castella, who has plenty of beautiful Sunsets ahead!
Sunset Drive is available on all digital platforms and will be available on vinyl when the album The Guest
