Vocalist programmer David B and multi-instrumentalist Paul McCrudden are better known as the politically charged, U.K. duo Calling All Astronauts. Their uncompromising blend of Electro, Goth, Post-Punk, Industrial Metal and EDM, has seen them carve out their own niche in the alternative rock scene.
It’s four years since the release of their critically acclaimed third album "#Resist", and as fascism and nationalism are still rearing thei ugly heads across the globe they felt now would be a fitting time to release their fourth, "Noise Against Tyranny". Released on July 11th 2025 via their own Supersonic Media.
Due to the global pandemic, Noise Against Tyranny has been four years in the making, but it’s worth the wait. Ten tracks steeped in socio-political comment that veers wildly from “Metal Drum & Bass” to “Spoken word Shoegaze” with an underlaying current of “Industrial” running through every track.
After working with double Grammy winner Alan Branch on their last 10 singles, they felt quite daunted by how high the bar has been set when they sat down to produce and mix a new album themselves, however, the results have delighted them, Noise Against Tyrannyis exactly the album they’ve always wanted to make.
