Originally written by Stephen Collins Foster, adapted by jonny boston & Curtis Helmut. The original song is beautiful, but always laid out as a love song. They liked the melody very much and then they came up with the idea to let the "Beautiful Dreamer Express" rattle through the land of dreams and therefore created a train song.
