Theresa Rhodes tells the story of a short-lived romance between a woman and a restless man, a nomad at heart. As for her preceding solo albums, Theresa, worked with her friend, guitarist/producer Eric Sempé and his guest pianist, the talented Philippe Cocogne.
BIOGRAPHY
British singer-song-writer Theresa Rhodes spent her youth in India and Rhodesia/Zimbabwe. She started singing and playing guitar aged 10. At 18, she joined a band to record a country music album. In 1992, she began writing her own songs. Jermaine Jackson heard Theresa Rhodes sing "Save Tomorrow" for the first time in 1993. He liked the song and its message and offered to sing it with her. The duo first performed in public at a charity concert in England. They then recorded the title and toured together to promote the song. In 1994, Theresa formed the group ONE FOR THE ROAD with which she recorded 4 albums and gave numerous concerts, notably in Paris at the "New Morning" and at the “Arena” in Geneva where she played the first act before Lionel Richie. Then came three solo albums: "IF YOU HAD ONLY", "THE TWISTED LOGIC OF LOVE" and "MAGIC LINGERS ON". Theresa’s composing went on throughout the Covid pandemic in preparation of her 10th album. She releases “Bombs on You and I” in 2023, “In The Middle of Nowhere” and “The Magic Wand” in 2024, “Fallen” followed by “Toxic Way To Love” in 2025, and in 2026, “All because of Dreaming” and now “Nomad At Heart”.
