Young country singer-songwriter Yara Beeks from Doetinchem has already built an impressive amount of experience and is steadily establishing a strong reputation both in the Netherlands and abroad. She has performed multiple times in Spain, Germany, and Belgium, and appeared at major festivals such as Mañana Mañana and Eurosonic Noorderslag. Accompanying herself on guitar, Yara writes songs about everyday life and the experiences we all relate to. Her music is inspired by artists such as Vince Gill, Ilse DeLange, and Alison Krauss. Alongside her original material, she performs timeless country classics in her own authentic style. After a successful run of solo performances, Yara decided to form a band. This added more power and energy to her sound, while the rich vocal harmonies brought extra depth and emotion to her music. In 2025, Yara took the next step in her career by joining the new television show Talent Unplugged on SBS6, where she worked intensively on her music under the guidance of coach Douwe Bob. This special collaboration gave her artistic development an extra boost. That same year brought even more exciting opportunities: Yara performed as a support act during the Kampvuurconcerten concert series, opening shows for major Dutch artists including Ilse DeLange, Miss Montreal, Edwin Evers, and her former coach Douwe Bob
