Pink Monk is an international collaboration of three artists from three different corners of the Earth:
Composer Ace Eshed from Finland, Producer Asim Rahimov from Azerbaijan, and Lyricist Jazmine, Marquez from the United States. With over three decades in the music industry under his belt, Ace Eshed has made a name for himself showcasing his flexibility and skill through his work in creating compositions in multiple genres. Always innovative and always inspired, Eshed chooses to explore and master many different genres as a way to connect to the many different walks of life a person can take. Asim Rahimov is a Baku- based sound engineer, producer, composer, and drummer with over 14 years’ worth of production experience. Asim has collaborated with international names such as Jhelisa Anderson and Hansen Studios, bringing both studio precision and live performance sensibility to his work.
Last is lyricist Jazmine Marquez, who has been writing her entire life exploring prose and poetry often through a lens of fantasy, romance, and magical realism, now considers songwriting yet another way to express her love of the written word. Now they present their latest single, “The Phoenix”, released on 13 April 2026. Leaning more into the cinematic, alternative side of pop, “The Phoenix”showcases Pink Monk’s ability to explore yet another facet of the genre while still maintaining the band’s core passion: making good music that is enjoyable for both artist and listener. The interplay between guitars and female vocals creates a smoky, dreamy atmosphere that gives way to a song about rising up after harship and reclaiming your inner strength. Stay tuned!
