Corey Legge & The Legacy are a blues-rock power trio based in Wollongong NSW.
Having previously played both solo and in 'The Swamp Stompers', Corey Legge has now
launched his brand-new blues-rock project with a bang in 2025, with ‘Red’ on drums
and Matt Crawford on bass. If Free, AC/DC and Marcus King had a love-child, this guitar
riff-heavy band would be it.
Corey Legge & The Legacy released their 1st single 'Legge to Stand On' and 2
nd single
‘Howlin’ at the Moon’ in 2025, receiving airplay worldwide and entering the AMRAP
charts. On 10th April 2026, the 3rd single ‘I Could Get Used to This’ will be released. In
late 2026, Corey Legge & The Legacy are set to release their highly anticipated debut
album.
Corey Legge is an 8-time Top 5 finalist in the 2025 Blues Awards (Sydney Blues Society)
and a finalist in the Sydney Blues Challenge. Corey Legge & The Legacy are a semifinalist in the International Songwriting Competition with their song ‘Howlin’ at the
Moon’ in the blues category.

Having recently wowed audiences on the Blues Train (VIC), and at Echuca-Moama
Winter Blues Festival (VIC) and Blues at Bridgetown (WA), Corey has also recently
toured Europe and opened the show for Ross Wilson & The Peaceniks and Kingswood
on their Australian tours. Corey toured as a feature artist with the prestigious Blues
Guitar Roadshow in 2025, which also featured renowned Australian blues artists such
as Lloyd Spiegel and Geoff Achison. Corey Legge is a founding member of festival
favourites The Swamp Stompers.
