Fantompass is a progressive rock band from Concepción, Chile, formed in 2022. Their music blends classic and contemporary progressive rock with elements of prog metal, jazz fusion, Celtic music and minimalism. Known for conceptual compositions and complex time signatures, the band draws inspiration from Renaissance, Genesis and Happy the Man. Their lyrics explore mystical and spiritual sources, ranging from St. John of the Cross and T.S. Eliot to early Christian monasticism through the teachings of the Desert Fathers. Fantompass is currently working on their debut studio album while presenting HUMBLE, an animated musical storyboard with immersive live staging.
