Born in the coastal town of Bowen, QLD, and raised along the sun-drenched Queensland coastline, Daisy grew up enjoying small town life. As the eldest of eight in a lively blended family, her childhood was full of adventure, chaos, and creativity. From quiet visits to her grandparents’ farm in Bloomsbury to barefoot days on Magnetic Island, Daisy always carried a melody in her heart. Her teenage years unfolded in the sugarcane town of Gordonvale—surrounded by high mountains, winding creeks, and open skies, which painted the perfect backdrop for a future country artist. Country music stole Daisy's heart early on. With Kasey Chambers, Dolly Parton, and Johnny Cash as her soundtrack, Daisy was penning poetry, writing stories and singing her own tunes whilst growing up. In 2016, Daisy made the big move across the country to Perth, WA.
These days, she’s a wife, a mum of two gorgeous kids, and a full-time creative spirit. After trading hospital shifts for homemaking, Daisy finally had the space to dust off her creativity and return to her first love: songwriting. With the legendary Bill Chambers in her corner, Daisy honed her craft and found her fire. The result? Wildfires & Daisies— her 13-track debut album (Nov 2023) that takes you on a raw, soul-stirring ride through heartbreak, healing, and everything in between. Co-written and produced by Bill at Chambers Avenue Recording Studio and mastered by Jeff McCormack. It’s country with grit, grace, and guts. And the journey didn’t stop there. In 2025, Daisy became a WACMA Finalist for Traditional/Heritage Song of the Year for "Jimmy Blue" and took home Alt-Country Song of the Year for "Walkin’ Through The Fire".
Daisy’s next chapter is blossoming like an eagerly awaited Spring... her upcoming EP Flowers is on its way, and it’s packed with heart, harmony, and a whole lot of bluegrass sparkle. Daisy's roped in some Aussie bluegrass legends - Jim Fisher and Ian Simpson - and even lined up a sweet lil’ duet with the one and only Donny Goodman. Flowers was born at Jim’s kitchen table - where ideas flowed freely and life stories were shared. The tracks were brought to life across three studios: recorded at Sundown Studios, Red Tail Studios with additional tracking, mixing, and sonic magic handled by Mark Donohoe at Apollo 10 Recording Studio. Mark worked closely with Daisy and Jim to shape the sound, helping turn a shared vision into something truly special
