What began in 2012 in the former rehearsal space of Swiss rock legends Krokus has become one of the most thrilling acts in the Swiss rock scene today. Basement Saints capture the essence of classic rock'n'roll, soul, and blues with their blend of Hammond organ, guitar, and drums, reinterpreting it in a fresh way. Their impact has been recognized far beyond Switzerland’s borders: the band has toured Germany and Spain multiple times, earned praise from major magazines like Rock Hard, and their Song “Brother” was featured in a promotional trailer for a gaming console. Their performance at the Montreux Jazz Festival remains unforgettable.
To date, the trio has released four albums, never letting up on the rock’n’roll intensity for a moment. “Snakes in the Alleys" is a wild, sweat-soaked hymn to desire, danger, and ecstatic indulgence. “It’s about giving in,” singer Anton Delen says. “That moment when the night takes over and you stop fighting the feeling.” From the first hit, the air vibrates with that vintage soul-meets-sin energy that only Basement Saints can conjure. This is Basement Saints at their dirtiest and most divine — a band that knows rock ’n’ roll isn’t supposed to be clean. It’s supposed to sweat.
