Larry Cann - Many Good Reasons

"Many Good Reasons" is a bluegrass injected and inspired track, with fantastic production by Michael and Caleb Flanders, Aussies based outside of Nashville. The song features some fantastic flat pickin' at a fun 2/4 beat. Many good reasons for drinkin’ is a tongue in cheek statement we have all heard at some time or another. Larry's first memory of the term came to him from an elderly farmer and old dozer driver who he worked for back in the early 90's in the Western Darling Downs named Ron, who is mentioned in the track.

Anytime he had a struggle in his day he would say I've many good reasons for drinkin'. The song itself really travels along and was the last song Larry wrote to add to his latest album filled with originals called "The Songsmith" and it’s the only song that Larry wrote himself. Ironically my boss Ron never actually drank but, in the song, we find out you don't need many good reasons for drinking you just need one
