Tracy Hamlin - Nothing Can Stop Me Now

Baltimore’s TRACY HAMLIN had her first big musical break singing with Pieces Of A Dream. After that gig, she turned to background work – both in the studio and on the road. In that capacity she worked with people like Carlos Santana, Chaka Khan, Grace Jones, Marcus Miller, Kirk Whalum and Gloria Gaynor. Quite a list! Then it was onwards and upwards fronting a plethora of dance tracks but by 2005 she was ready to strike our on her own and since then we’ve enjoyed a stream of classy, contemporary soul cuts from her.

So it’s with pleasure that we present her latest single – a crisp, quality soul  dancer ‘Nothing Can Stop Me Now’ . It was produced by Rodney Shelton  and the message in the music is a message of resilience, rebirth, and self-empowerment and the soundscape matches the assertive optimism of the lyrics. It’s quite electrifying  and we believe that it’s the title track to Ms H’s upcoming album, her seventh,  which we look forward to!
