Release of “A World Minus One”

Eugene Ruffolo is a New York-based singer-songwriter who has been making a name for himself in both the US and Europe for many years. With his intimate performances and extraordinary voice, he has built a loyal fan base. From his latest album “Ten Good Sermons,” the song “A World Minus One” will be released as a single on February 17th, 2025 in a special ‘radio edit’ version. Eugene Ruffolo says the following about the single and the song's background:

“I wrote “A World Minus One” when my good friend, singer/songwriter Artie Traum, was sick and nearing the end of his life. I have long thought that deep personal loss is not something one really ever “gets over.” I believe that we mourn the loss, process it as best we can and then move forward in a world that is forever altered - a “World Minus One.” The song was originally intended as a personal outlet and to process my emotions. I sang it at Artie's memorial service and later at performances, where I noticed how it touched people. That inspired me to release the song because it seems to offer comfort to others in what is a universal experience: the loss of someone irreplaceable.”
